Beach Byron Bay restaurant celebrates and showcases the best of beach dining with a passion for great food, seasonality and a relaxed atmosphere. Set high on the dunes of Clarkes Beach, Beach is the only restaurant in Byron Bay offering absolute beachfront dining.

With views overlooking Byron Bay’s Julian Rocks, Clarkes Beach and The Pass, Beach Byron Bay is perfect for breakfast, long lunches, sunset drinks and dinner under the stars.

The restaurant has become a favourite for destination weddings and corporate events with their own dedicated events team. In addition to the waterfront restaurant, Beach features a takeaway kiosk with a menu designed for dining on the go and beach side picnics.

Beach Byron Bay is open seven days a week from 7am and restaurant reservations are highly recommended.

The restaurant is a joint venture between Byron Bay restaurateurs Ben and Belinda Kirkwood and Fink.

Positioned on absolute beach frontage, diners can expect a menu founded on coastal Mediterranean flavours and principles – food that relies on simplicity and respect for good produce; comprising a few simple ingredients, carefully selected and served at their best.

Beach Byron Bay’s Italian hatted Head Chef celebrates the best of beach dining with menus inspired by Byron Bay’s pristine coastline, which delivers some of the best seafood in the world, and Byron Bay’s assembly of organic and artisan food producers.

Dishes are created to showcase this diversity of ingredients, as well as the Head Chef’s love of soft cheese, cured meats, handmade pasta, fresh seafood and Italian desserts, giving customers a unique taste of Byron Bay’s highest-quality food, locally distilled drinks and fresh produce.

Food pairings are centred on collaborating with local suppliers and dishes are literally a snapshot of the ocean and mountains that surround the Beach Byron Bay restaurant.

Enrico Semenzato

For the past twenty years, Enrico Semenzato has been exploring the art of Mediterranean food and flavour. In his role as Head Chef for Beach Byron Bay, Enrico has created a range of award-winning menus that have been shaped by his devotion to coastal Italian food alongside his love for the spectrum of locally made and grown produce in the Byron Bay region.

The result is a signature beach dining experience with a menu that perfectly reflects the restaurant’s setting – relaxed yet stylish; with each course inspired by local Byron Bay producers and providores and Enrico’s love of the sea and the taste of the Mediterranean.
