Beach Byron Bay restaurant celebrates and showcases the best of beach dining with a passion for great food, seasonality and a relaxed atmosphere. Set high on the dunes of Clarkes Beach, Beach is the only restaurant in Byron Bay offering absolute beachfront dining.
With views overlooking Byron Bay’s Julian Rocks, Clarkes Beach and The Pass, Beach Byron Bay restaurant is open from 12 noon for long lunches and 5:30pm for sunset drinks and dinner under the stars. In addition to the waterfront restaurant, Beach features an adjoining Kiosk that is open every day from 7am for breakfast, brunch and lunch.
The restaurant has become a favourite for destination weddings and corporate events with their own dedicated events team. Restaurant reservations at Beach are essential.

Prior to joining the Beach Byron Bay team as Head Chef in February 2022, Alanna Sapwell was named Gourmet Traveller’s Best New Talent, Courier Mail’s Chef of the Year and Delicious’ Unearthed Next Gen Chef. After training in Queensland, Italy and Japan, Alanna worked in various highly-regarded venues including Saint Peter and Arc Dining. Her pop-up restaurant Esmay saw great success, followed by a national tour with Good Food Month.
Alanna’s dedication to hyper-seasonal, ethically raised and locally sourced produce is evident in her menus at Beach Byron Bay.
